Evaluation Of "It's Good To Talk"

Above is my preliminary task finished. The class all watched each others interviews and gave feedback for each of them to improve on.This is the list of things that were wrong with my interview which I must improve on when I create my actual documentary:
- The ending cuts too quickly
- No fades are used
- The rule of thirds is not used properly
- Song choice is incorrect
- There are no cutaways
- Too many jump cuts
- The shot type is wrong
- Interviewee moves around a lot, changing the eye line
- The positioning of interviewee's body is not right
- Mise-en-scene did not link to the interview
- Camerawork used was not steady
- The music was too loud in parts
- Order of answers did not make sense

Filming "It's Good To Talk"

Planning "It's Good To Talk"

In this lesson, we planned how to film our preliminary task and what we would need to make it.

- The title of our preliminary documentary will be called "Call Me Maybe"
- Cutaways used will be a pan across some phones
- Our props will be the phones we use for the cutaway
- For the mise-en-scene we will have a plain background where the interviewee is being interviewed
- I shall be the interviewee for this task

Below is the storyboard we drew before filming our interview:
